What is the Coerver System?
The Coerver system is based on the qualities that 2, 3, or 4 players need to have a positive effect on certain parts of the field and that success is determined by the quality and technical abilities of the players involved. It is because of this that Coerver coaching focuses on improving individual and small group play.
Dutch Coach Weil Coerver in the 1970′s strived for a way to be able to teach creative soccer players and develop more attack-minded players. By studying the great players of the era and recording them on video, Weil was able to break down the close control and ball skills, and teach them to all youngsters regardless of talent level. Weil Coerver then went on to establish soccer camps and schools, and then eventually with the help of Charlie Cooke and Alfred Galustian beginning in the 1980′s, took Coerver coaching to a global level.
So, why is this important? Because the founders of Coerver believe that any young soccer player can master the skills that they need to succeed on the playing field. If you have a team of players who are willing to learn, and who are hungry for success, you should try the Coerver DVDs. It comes with a money back guarantee, so if you aren’t satisfied, you just return the money for a full refund. You have nothing to lose!
